The Chris Holt Scholarship is an annual scholarship presented by the Bat Boys and McNary Youth Baseball for any graduating senior of McNary High School who has been an active participant in any McNary High School sports programs. It is a one-time scholarship for the recipient in the amount of $1,000 and is awarded to offset costs of continuing education at any post-high school educational, technical, or vocational institution.
The scholarship is in memory of Chris Holt, a 13-year-old Keizer resident and youth baseball and football player, who passed away from leukemia on January 1, 2003. It was established in 2020 as a way to honor all of the dedicated coaches who have sacrificed their time and talents over many years to advance youth sports in the Keizer area.

Bella is an exceptional student-athlete. She is a 4.0 student and team captain for girl's varsity volleyball. She has also participated in basketball, AVID, ASB Leadership, and National Honor Society. She has worked very hard to get where she's at today and we wish her the best of luck in her higher education adventure!

Elise, a captain of the McNary High School girl's varsity soccer team and a dedicated scholar, will pursue her dream to become a nurse. In addition to her contributions as a student-athlete, she was on the All-Academic Team in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
Regann Donahue
2020 Chris Holt Scholarship Winner
Regann’s academic and extracurricular activities, awards, and honors have been remarkable throughout her high school career. She was a member of both varsity girls soccer and varsity girls lacrosse, having made All League Academic Team in 2016 and 2018 for varsity girls soccer and in 2019 for both varsity girls soccer and varsity girls lacrosse.
