Fall 2025 – Bat Boys

Bat Boys Black competes in the Salem Baseball Academy (SBA) league with doubleheaders on Sundays.

This team is by invitation, selected through tryouts. The cost is $275 per player, which includes league fees, a hat and jersey, insurance, and equipment for field prep.

The Midweek Team is for players looking for additional reps/games. Anyone is welcome, but we’re capping it at 13 players. Games are played Thursdays under the lights at Chemeketa Community College.

The cost is $190 for stand-alone players or $125 for players also on a Weekend Team. This fee covers league entry, insurance, a hat and jersey, and equipment needs.

The Sandlot League offers a fun, development-focused experience with plenty of live-game action. All games are played locally within the Mid Valley, creating a convenient and community-based atmosphere. Games are played on Sundays from September through October.

We will field up to 2 teams to compete in this league. It is by invitation and will be selected through tryouts. The cost is $225 per player, which covers league fees, umpire costs, a jersey and hat, insurance, and all field prep and equipment needs.

Here are some of the themed weekends we have planned:

SUNFLOWER SEED SUNDAY

Every player will get a pack of sunflower seeds. Choose your favorite flavor and keep that dugout energy going!

BIG LEAGUE SUNDAY

Step up to the plate like the pros! We’re handing out packs of Big League Chew to every player.

SUPER SLICE SUNDAY

Nothing says Sandlot like pizza and baseball! We’re handing out pizza for every team and every player (yes, coaches too!).

Payments this season are easy: Cash or Venmo.

To secure your spot and keep things on track, please plan to pay 50% by August 15 and the remaining 50% by September 5.
